Alumni! The Search for 2004 AIM Alumni Achievement (TripleA)
awardees is in full swing. The Federation of AIM
Alumni Associations Inc. (FAIM) pays tribute to a select
group of members with excellent performance in various
fields of professional, social or entrepreneurial
endeavor through the Triple A Award which is given every
year.
The indicators to be evaluated include among others, the
following: the achievement of a significant professional
accomplishment, contribution to the betterment of the
managerial profession, contribution to the advancement
of indigenous entrepreneurship or promotion of people's
empowerment and sustainable development, high degree of
achievement of personal excellence, and a strong
contribution to the upliftment of less privileged
members of society.Last year's awardees were: Dr. Yoo-Hwan
Kim, MM 1979 from Korea; Peter Lee Kok-Hoe, TMP 1980
from Malaysia and Herminio "Sonny" Coloma. MBA 1978 from
the Philippines.
Nominations for this year
should be submitted to the respective country AIM alumni
chapter on or before Dec. 15. Each Country
chapter selects the best qualified nominee and submits
his/her accomplished nomination form to the FAIM
Secretariat based in AIM, Philippines. The FAIM Board
composed of all the country chapter heads vote on the
submited nominees to determine who will be given the
Award. At present there is a total of 104 winners of the
Triple A Award.
